Inverness Airport

Inverness Airport describes itself as the air gateway to the Highlands and Islands of Scotland. It serves Inverness, the “capital of the Highlands” and the region’s only city, and the south-east of the Highland council area; and it’s also a hub for the Western and Northern Isles, connecting them with destinations in England, Northern Ireland and several European destinations.

Location

Inverness Airport is at Dalcross, 8 miles (13 km) north-east of the city centre. The airport website doesn’t appear to have a map, which is not too much of a worry as driving there is simply a matter of following the A96 eastbound from Inverness or westbound from Nairn until you reach the airport turn-off.

Contact details

Contact details and a contact form are available at the airport’s contacts page.

Facilities for disabled people

The airport suggest that you contact their special assistance agents, Dalcross Handling, in advance of arriving at the airport to make arrangements. Details of how to contact Dalcross Handling, and details of disabled parking and other accessibility features, are available on Inverness Airport’s accessibility page.
