Larnaca International Airport
Larnaca International Airport is a relatively small airport, which can nevertheless boast that over 5 million passengers pass through its doors each year. In 2006 the airport underwent a massive upgrade and expansion which cost in excess of £6 million, bringing with it substantial improvements for passengers and staff alike.
Location
Larnaca International Airport is located in the south-east of the island, 5 km (3 miles) from Larnaca city centre.
From the north-east: Simply take the A3 motorway southbound to the end – the motorway terminates onto the airport loop.
From the north-west: Take the A1 motorway southbound. At Alampra join the A2, then at the Aradippou intersection take the A3 southbound to the airport.
From the south-west: Take the A1 motorway north-eastwards. At the Kophinou intersection, join the A5 towards Larnaca, then the A3 southbound to the airport.
