Brest Bretagne Airport
Brest Bretagne Airport (Aéroport Brest Bretagne), formerly known as Brest Guipavas Airport, serves the city of Brest in the Brittany peninsula of France. Brest Airport offers flights to Paris several times a day, as well as several flights a week to other destinations to France and to Birmingham, Manchester and Southampton in the UK. The airport has only one terminal, which currently handles roughly 850,000 passengers a year. A recent major rebuild increased the passenger count to 1.8 million passengers a year, which will also allow for further expansion.
Location
Brest Bretagne Airport is located 10.2 km (6.4 miles) north-east of Brest, just next to the E-50 motorway.
From Brest and the west, go north-east on the E-50 motorway from Brest centre. The airport is located to the left of the motorway and is clearly signposted all the way. From Brest city centre to the airport is approximately 9 km (6 miles).
