Luxembourg-Findel Airport
Luxembourg-Findel Airport (called Lux-Airport on its website) is Luxembourg’s only commercial airport and is thus an entirely international airport from the point of view of commercial traffic. It’s a significant European cargo airport, ranking fifth in Europe in 2010; but it also handles well over a million-and-a-half passengers annually.
Location
Findel Airport is approximately 10 km (6 miles) east of Luxembourg city centre, just north of the village of Sandweiler. Maps of the airport’s location in the region and in relation to the city can be found on the airport website’s “Getting to the airport by car” page.
