Malta International Airport
Malta International Airport – formerly RAF Luqa – is a relatively small airport served by Air Malta and several other European and North African airlines, including many low-cost airlines.
Location
Malta International Airport is located at Luqa and covers a substantial portion of the south of the island. It’s signposted at most major road junctions on the island.

Facilities for disabled persons
There are apparently no electric carts, which is no great surprise given the size of the airport. But wheelchairs and porters are available to take you from A to B. The wheelchairs have proper-sized rear wheels so you can propel yourself.
MIA has no air bridges, so if you have trouble with steps you’ll need to ask for the ambulift.
They do have a narrow wheelchair suitable for aircraft aisles, but be sure to tell them you need it when you check in.
Other facilities available include PRM Service Call-Points at the main car park entrance and outside the departure check-in hall, priority seating, low telephones and dedicated toilets in all areas of the building.
