Montreal-Mirabel International Airport

Montreal-Mirabel International Airport, also known as Montréal International (Mirabel) Airport and colloquially simply as Mirabel, is an airport located in the city of Mirabel in the Canadian province of Quebec. It is the second largest airport in the world in terms of surface area, but is almost entirely given over to cargo flights, medical evacuations and general aviation.

Location

Montréal-Mirabel International Airport is located 39 km (24 miles) north-west of Montreal. An online map with the airport’s location pinned on it can be found here:

Facilities for disabled people

There is little or no information on the Aéroports de Montréal website about Montréal-Mirabel International Airport’s compliance with CTA’s regulations. This is perhaps not surprising in view of the lack of passenger traffic at the airport.
