Palma de Mallorca Airport
Palma de Mallorca Airport (Aeropuerto de Palma de Mallorca) is Spain’s third largest in terms of traffic; some 21 million holidaymakers pass through the airport each year. Future infrastructure plans will see the passenger count rise towards 38 million passengers in 2015.
Location
The airport is situated 8 km (5 miles) east of Palma on Majorca, next to the village of Can Pastilla.
From central Palma: Head eastwards along the Ma-19 (Autovia de Levante) and leave at the airport junction (7).
From the south-east: Head for the Ma-19 and leave at the airport junction (7).
From the east: Head for the Autovia Ma-15 westbound (Carrer de Manacor) and follow it to its terminus. Turn left (south) onto the Ma-30, then join the southbound Ma-19 and leave at the next junction (7) for the airport.
From other directions: Head for Palma and join the Ma-20 (Circunvalación de Palma) clockwise. At the terminus join the eastbound Ma-19 and leave at the airport junction (7).
