Here we are at Smoky Jack. As with other places in Upper Penang Street – which is pedestrianised – access is absolutely fine if you want to just wheel up and sit outside, so you can eat and drink. The place inside is like going to another planet! They’ve got tables that are in a tunnel pod thing, all kind of weird stuff. Very strange!

The toilets are absolutely not accessible. Apart from all the steps you have to go up and down and negotiate, there’s a narrow corridor you have to go down to get to the cubicles at the end. Again, you can eat, you can drink but you can’t go.
