Stockholm-Arlanda Airport
Stockholm-Arlanda Airport (Stockholm-Arlanda flygplats) is an international airport, the largest of three airports serving Sweden’s capital city of Stockholm and indeed the country’s largest airport, with some 17 million passengers using it in 2010. It’s also a major hub of Scandinavian Airlines SAS.
Location
Stockholm-Arlanda Airport is located in Stockholm county in the province of Uppland, approximately 45 km (28 miles) north of Stockholm city centre. A short spur of the E4 motorway, the L273, runs to the airport.
The airport authorities are very keen to promote environment-friendly travel and do not go out of their way to make it easy for drivers to find information about getting to the airport. Nevertheless, a map is available on the airport website.

Facilities for disabled people
There is a page about flying for those with reduced mobility, but it’s taken from Swedavia Swedish Airports’ website and consists mostly of generic information about the co-operation needed from the passenger to ensure a smooth passage through Swedavia airports between aircraft and surface transport.
Disappointingly, the airport’s website appears to have no information at all about any facilities that might be available at the airport itself such as toilets, telephones or Braille signage. This contrasts with the wealth of information about its environmentally friendly design.
