Sydney Airport

Sydney Airport, also known as Kingsford-Smith Airport, is the busiest airport in Australia and one of the oldest continuously operated airports in the world.

Location

Sydney Airport is located in the suburb of Mascot in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

The airport’s website assures visitors that all terminals, T1 International, T2 Domestic and T3 Domestic, can be easily found by following signs to the airport – usually displayed by a simple aeroplane symbol. Most major routes will feature the symbol at decision points.

An online map with Sydney Airport’s location pinned on it can be found in the following link (courtesy of Google Maps):

You can find contact information and an online contact form for inquiries with Sydney Airport’s authorities in their official contacts and feedback web page

Facilities for disabled people

Sydney Airport’s “Disability Access Facilitation Plan”, drawn up in line with government guidance, aims to advise passengers both of the airport’s measures to help passengers with disabilities, and of how passengers can help the airport to help them (eg by providing timely information of their needs).

Sydney Airport has one of the best dedicated airport accessibility web pages we have seen so far.  Its “Disability Access Facilitation Plan” web page is full of useful information for passengers with special needs and can be found here:

Accessible parking for mobility impaired persons is provided within all public car parks at Sydney Airport, located as close as possible to terminals and near lifts in the domestic multi-storey car park.
