Thailand: Pattaya – Big C Extra

The Big C Extra branch in Pattaya is on Pattaya Klang (Central Road), just east (uphill) of its crossing with Third Road. (It used to be a branch of Carrefour, and appears from the name and from its offerings to be a bit upmarket from the usual cheap-’n’-cheerful Big C.)

Access to the building itself is reasonably well planned for wheelchair users, with slopes running up from the road towards the building.

Once inside the building, there are disabled toilets on both floors. A lift is available, although on the ground floor you have to go through the food court to get to it.

All the shops are reasonably accessible, although neither Big C Extra nor HomePro have trolleys designed for use from a wheelchair.
