Bristol Airport
Formerly named Bristol Lulsgate Airport, in March 2010 the airport was renamed as simply Bristol Airport. More than 14 airline companies operate from the airport, servicing over 90 destinations with over 5 million passengers passing through each year. In May 2010, an £8m project was completed with the opening of a 450-metre walkway which connects the terminal building to eight new pre-boarding zones. Previously passengers had to walk across the apron to board their plane, or be taken from the gate to the aircraft by bus.

Bristol Airport is located 8 miles south of Bristol city centre.
It can be reached from the North via the M5. Leave the M5 at Junction 18 (signposted A4 Bristol & Airport). Take the A4 towards Bristol. Go past Bristol City football ground and join the A38 towards Taunton; the airport is situated 8 miles south of Bristol on the A38.
From the South (M5): Leave the M5 at Junction 22, at the roundabout take the third exit (signposted A38). At East Brent roundabout join the A370; take the second exit (signposted A38 & airport). Continue on this road for approx 11 miles, and the airport is on the left.
From the East (M4): At Junction 20 (Almondsbury interchange), join the M5 southbound. Exit the M5 at Junction 18 (signposted A4 Bristol & Airport). Take the A4 towards Bristol following signs for the airport. Go past Bristol City football ground and connect with the A38 towards Taunton; the airport is situated 8 miles south of Bristol on the A38.

Over 5,000 PRMs (persons with reduced mobility) use Bristol Airport every month. Although the airport is well equipped for PRMs (persons with reduced mobility), if you have a disability or you experience any mobility difficulties and need assistance you should notify the airline you’re flying with in advance of your journey, to help ensure that the facilities are used efficiently.
