Pat’s Petition against cuts to disability services

Frances has sent us the message below:

Have you heard of Pat’s Petition? It’s all disabilities getting together to fight to save benefits and services. It’s really hard to reach people with disability so we would like your help. We work closely with Hardest Hit.

We are quite hopeful. If we can get to 8000 signatures by the New Year, Benefits and Work will help us again – they are fantastic – and we can get to 10,000.

Once we break through 10,000 we can get national press coverage and we should grow fast. We want a high profile by April when the time limit on the ESA WRAG gets to the Lords.

Frances

The petition urges the government to “Stop and review the cuts to benefits and services which are falling disproportionately on disabled people, their carers and families”.

False Economy: Sign Pat’s petition against cuts to disability services

We’re glad to spread the message about this excellent initiative. 100,000 signatures guarantees a debate in the House of Commons, and every little helps. So please sign the petition – and encourage family and friends to sign it too.
