Singapore Changi Airport is the main airport of Singapore and a major international air hub. In 2010 it was ranked as the fifth busiest airport in Asia and the 18th busiest airport in the world by passenger traffic. Since its opening in 1981 it has won hundreds of worldwide distinctions and awards for its services.
Location
Changi Airport is located 17.2 kilometres (10.7 miles) north-east of the commercial centre, in Changi, at the eastern end of Singapore island.
